Scheme

Our program is now live! Click here to see how the days will unfold, what the speakers will be talking about and what you will learn in each lecture. We have three days of very robust programming designed to teach you what you need to know to develop professionally, grow your career and make more money.

Some of our conversations are:

  • How to Successfully Run Small Group Tours
  • How to Crush It on TikTok
  • How do you create stories that captivate people?
  • How to build online communities
  • How to grow your business with a team
  • Advanced SEO
  • Google Analytics
  • Self publish
  • Creating Successful IG Partnerships

We’re still having a conversation about reels, how the TikTok algorithm works, creating courses, and physical products are coming too!

sponsors

We will have nearly 40 sponsors this year. You can meet, network and close deals with them. Here’s a list of who’s coming so far:

We have more on the way! Some other sponsors that have been confirmed but not yet have their logos include Alabama Tourism, Banff Tourism, Crabtree & Everlyn, Safety Wing, Get Your Guide, Go Rving, Seeker and TripActions.

Workshop information

As we have done in recent years, we will be giving photography and writing workshops. These are intensive, hands-on, half-day classes that take place the day before the main event (April 28). Space is limited to 20 people per class and these workshops are subject to a $99 USD fee.

You can learn more about the writing workshop leaders by clicking here (we are still drafting our photography workshop leaders). Registrations open on March 28.

Some other highlights

There’s a lot of other cool stuff happening at this year’s TravelCon, including:

  • More than 15 niche meetings
  • Two awesome parties
  • A scavenger hunt around Memphis
  • Pre and Post Conference FAM Tours of Memphis and the Region
  • And a few more surprises that I don’t want to spoil!

If you’re a travel maker, TravelCon is the place to be! I created it as a way to bring in experts inside and outside the travel industry who can help you grow your business, make more money, and improve your skills. It’s a continuing education conference that will change your career.

So come to this event, mingle with your colleagues, close deals and create the connections you need for continued success.

You can get your ticket here. They are limited, so get them while you still can! We are 40% sold out!

And if you have any questions, drop me an email at matt@travelcon.org.

Book your trip: logistics tips and tricks

Book your flight

Find a cheap flight with Skyscanner. It’s my favorite search engine because it searches websites and airlines around the world, so you always know that no stone is left unturned.

Book your accommodation

You can book your hostel at Hostelworld. If you want to stay somewhere other than a hostel, use Booking.com as they consistently return the cheapest rates for guest houses and cheap hotels.

Don’t forget the travel insurance

Travel insurance protects you against illness, injury, theft and cancellations. It is comprehensive protection in case something goes wrong. I never travel without it as I have had to use it many times in the past. My favorite companies that offer the best service and value are:

  • SafetyWing (best for everyone)
  • Insure my trip (for over 70s)
  • Medjet (for additional evacuation coverage)

Ready to book your trip?

Check out my resources page for the best companies to use when you travel. I make a list of all the ones I use when I travel. They are best in class and you can’t go wrong with them on your trip.
